## What You Will Do - Manage prescription refill requests from patients and healthcare providers - Coordinate with pharmacies to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of prescription orders - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists and allergy information - Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other stakeholders regarding prescription refills and related issues - Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of refill services - Stay current with changes in pharmacy benefits, laws, and regulations that may impact refill services - Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers, resolving issues and addressing concerns in a professional manner - Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care and support - Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to refill services - Monitor and report any trends or issues related to prescription refill services
## What We Are Looking For - High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) required - Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with a state board of pharmacy - A minimum of 2 years of experience in operational pharmacy benefits (health plan or PBM), clinic setting, high volume call center, or retail pharmacy - Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, including prescription refill processes and patient data management - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment - Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software applications - Ability to work in a remote setting, with reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace - Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service
## Nice to Have - Experience with automated refill systems and electronic prior authorization processes - Knowledge of Medicare Part D and other government-funded pharmacy programs - Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
