Job Description

About the Role

SpaceX is seeking an experienced Pilot in Command to join its Aviation team, operating Gulfstream G450/G550 aircraft to support executive transportation and mission-critical travel.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Pilot in Command for Gulfstream G450/G550 aircraft, conducting domestic and international flights
  • Perform pre-flight planning, including weather analysis, route optimization, and fuel management
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers, including SpaceX executives and team members

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 4,000+ total flight hours with multi-engine turbine experience
  • Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate and Gulfstream GV Type Rating

Nice to Have

  • Strong knowledge of FAR Part 91 operations and corporate aviation standards
  • Boeing 737 Type Rating and/or Gulfstream G650 Type Rating
  • Experience in high-end corporate or executive transport operations
