About the Role
The Platform Business Analyst role at Aflac is a remote opportunity that involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement technical solutions. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring performance, resolving problems, and managing component capacity issues. You will also work with external and internal stakeholders to communicate technical proposals and deploy platform applications tailored to company needs.The ideal candidate will have strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with prior experience in the Life, Absence, and Disability Group insurance domain. What You Will Do
- Design, test, develop, configure, and maintain integrations to platform applications
- Monitor performance, resolve problems, and manage component capacity issues
- Adhere to the platform's security and coding standards for resilience, data, and security
- Review business requirements to deploy the best solution, including configuring, coding, and debugging
- Work closely with cross-functional departments to communicate statuses and technical proposals
- Deploy and configure platform applications tailored to company needs
- Design technical solutions, configure/customize, test, and maintain the platform applications to meet company requirements
- Interface with Dev, QA, and demo changes with external and internal stakeholders
- Manage requirements and backlog using JIRA
What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a client-facing role
- Prior experience with Life, Absence, and Disability Group insurance domain
- Experience with JIRA, managing requirements and backlog
- Experience with Salesforce, SQL, Snowflake, AWS, and Mulesoft
- Experience with Agile/Scrum SDLC
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
- Two or more years of experience in release practices and environments or other related experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment

- Experience with cloud-based platforms and technologies
- Knowledge of insurance industry trends and regulations
- Certification in Business Analysis or a related field
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools
