About the Role
The PLM Consultant position at Kryptos Technologies is a critical role focused on the analysis, redesign, and harmonization of engineering lifecycle processes across different business divisions. This involves aligning engineering practices with the capabilities of the enterprise Windchill PLM platform to enable business-led decision making for future process improvements. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams, to identify inefficiencies and implement best practices.As a key member of the team, the PLM Consultant will lead end-to-end analysis of existing engineering lifecycle processes, identifying areas for improvement and defining future processes that align with industry best practices and PTC Windchill PLM capabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of product lifecycle management, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas and processes effectively to diverse stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Lead the analysis of existing engineering lifecycle processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Define and establish future engineering lifecycle processes that are aligned with industry best practices and PTC Windchill PLM capabilities.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineering, manufacturing, and IT stakeholders to ensure process improvements are well-understood and supported.
- Develop comprehensive process documentation, including workflow diagrams, operational procedures, and responsibility matrices.
- Establish standardized engineering processes across multiple business units where appropriate.
- Support the creation of business cases for process improvements and technology enhancements.
- Guide requirements intake and prioritization for improvements within the PTC Windchill PLM environment.
- Ensure that process designs comply with enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
- Support organizational change enablement activities, including training and communication efforts.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement process improvements and technology enhancements.
What We Are Looking For
- Extensive experience in engineering lifecycle management and product data management processes.
- Strong process analysis and business transformation experience within manufacturing organizations.
- Experience facilitating global workshops with engineering leaders and business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business requirements into system-enabled processes.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Process Management.
- Training or certification in process improvement methodologies is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise Windchill PLM platforms is strongly preferred.

- Experience with other PLM systems and technologies.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Certification in project management or a related field.
- Fluency in multiple languages, particularly German, given the role’s location.
