About the Role
The Polish Quality Specialist position at Productive Playhouse is a remote, project-based role that focuses on ensuring the highest quality of language data. This involves reviewing transcriptions for grammar, spelling, and accuracy, as well as assigning tasks and overseeing progress to keep the project on track. As a key member of the team, the Polish Quality Specialist will be the primary point of contact for language-specific questions and will work closely with the Regional Lead to escalate any unresolved quality issues.The role requires a native or full proficiency in Polish, along with a strong working proficiency in English. Candidates with experience in linguistics, translation, transcription, or localization will be highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have sharp grammar, orthography, and punctuation skills, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and promptly in English.

What You Will Do
- Review transcriptions for language quality, grammar, spelling, and accuracy to ensure the highest standards of data quality.
- Assign tasks and oversee progress to keep the project moving efficiently, using strong organizational and time management skills.
- Be the first stop for the team when reviewers flag quality issues, following the QC workflow guide to resolve problems promptly.
- Answer language-specific questions from the team, providing expertise and guidance on linguistic matters.
- Escalate unresolved quality issues to the Regional Lead, ensuring that all problems are addressed and resolved effectively.
- Communicate clearly and promptly in English, both in writing and verbally, to ensure seamless collaboration with the team.
- Manage and prioritize tasks effectively, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with the Regional Lead and other team members to develop and implement quality control processes, ensuring the continuous improvement of language data quality.
What We Are Looking For
- Native or full proficiency in Polish (ISO: pl_pl), with a deep understanding of the language and its nuances.
- Strong working proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both writing and speaking.
- Sharp grammar, orthography, and punctuation skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for linguistic accuracy.
- Experience in linguistics, translation, transcription, or localization, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of language data quality.
