About the Role
As a Pool Technician I at Pyramid Global Hospitality, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's pool facilities. What You Will Do
- Maintain the hotel's pools, including cleaning, testing, and balancing the water chemistry
- Perform routine maintenance on pool equipment, such as pumps, filters, and heaters
- Identify and report any issues or defects in the pool equipment or surrounding areas
- Work closely with the engineering management to ensure that all equipment is in good working condition
- Strive to become an independent technician capable of analyzing problems and formulating plans to complete tasks quickly with a high degree of quality
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations

What We Are Looking For
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures
- Knowledge of pool maintenance and equipment
- Familiarity with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred
- Certification in pool maintenance or a related field is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
