About the Role

The Porter role is essential in supporting the overall operations of our facilities, and your contributions will have a direct impact on the customer experience. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and well-maintained, and that any issues are promptly reported and addressed.

What You Will Do

• Clean and sanitize public restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas regularly
• Perform daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and meetings held at our facilities
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, alerting management when reordering is necessary
• Support minor maintenance tasks and promptly report any significant issues to the maintenance team
• Engage with guests and staff positively, providing assistance when needed to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all
• Use Excel to track and manage inventory and maintenance tasks

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in custodial or cleaning roles is an advantage, though not required
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed

Nice to Have

• Experience with cleaning and maintenance equipment
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to speak multiple languages
