About the Role

The Portfolio Product Manager plays a pivotal role in Colibri Group's mission to transform careers through education. Day-to-day, the Portfolio Product Manager will conduct extensive market research, including customer interviews and competitive intelligence analysis, to identify unmet needs in the market. This involves a significant amount of experimentation, validating assumptions, and iterating quickly to achieve sustainable product-market fit. The role also involves defining the product roadmap based on objectives, revenue targets, and customer churn metrics, rather than velocity.

The team context for this role is highly collaborative, with the Portfolio Product Manager working closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, to monitor margins, pricing, and portfolio ROI. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize customer problems that align with high-level business goals is essential.

What You Will Do

  • Own portfolio revenue targets and growth plans
  • Build and defend business cases for new products and investments
  • Forecast performance based on market dynamics and lifecycle trends
  • Partner with Finance to monitor margins, pricing, and portfolio ROI
  • Conduct VOC & Market Discovery through 1-on-1 customer interviews, ethnography, and analyzing competitive intelligence
  • Focus on achieving product-market fit through experimentation and iteration
  • Define the product roadmap based on OKRs, revenue targets, and customer churn metrics
  • Prioritize customer problems that align with high-level business goals
  • Manage product enrollment and utilization rates
  • Work on renewal and retention strategies to improve customer lifetime value
  • Ensure time-to-market for new offerings is optimized

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management, sales, product marketing management, or strategy roles
  • Experience in professional and/or higher education, training, credentialing, or regulated markets
  • Proven success in managing revenue-generating products or portfolios
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Experience with LMS platforms, digital education products, or subscription models
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
