About the Role
The Portfolio Reporting Team Lead position at Cerity Partners is a critical role that involves leading the portfolio reporting function and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of client reports. As a key member of the team, you will provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to team members, leveraging your expertise in Salesforce and Excel to drive process improvements and enhance client satisfaction. The role requires a strong understanding of portfolio accounting and performance management software, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the coordination of reporting workflows, ensuring the integrity of data, and maintaining a working understanding of key metrics and calculations. You will also be expected to document processes, participate in requirements gathering for system updates, and facilitate user integration and acceptance testing. As a leader, you will be responsible for mentoring team members, overseeing operational workflows, and managing projects to ensure timely completion.

What You Will Do
- Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to team members, leveraging expertise in Salesforce and Excel
- Coordinate reporting workflows to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client reports
- Manage the setup of new accounts, including coding, linking to custodians, and ensuring proper reporting of all investments
- Perform daily updates and reconciliations to ensure data integrity
- Monitor reporting and integration of alternative assets, including monthly performance updates
- Proactively monitor dashboards to ensure system integrity and data accuracy
- Maintain a working understanding of key metrics, calculations, and operational processes
- Document processes and participate in requirements gathering for system updates
- Facilitate user integration and acceptance testing
- Support the integration of new advisors onto the Orion and Addepar systems
- Establish clients and accounts, link to custodians, and convert history
What We Are Looking For
- 7-10 years of related experience in the investment services industry
- Leadership experience, including leading projects, mentoring team members, or overseeing operational workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using Salesforce
- Strong understanding of portfolio accounting and performance management software, such as Addepar and Orion
- Proven history of being a self-starter and working effectively in a remote environment
- Ability to manage up and have direct, open, and progressive conversations with management and partners
- Analytical problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented approach
- Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree required, experience in financial services preferred

- Certification in a related field, such as CFA or CFP
