About the Role
The Post Production Editor role at Bjak is a unique opportunity to join a talented team of creatives and contribute to the company's mission of creating successful businesses while making society more efficient. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for editing high-performing short-form videos for social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and XHS. Your goal will be to craft strong hooks, pacing, and storytelling flow to maximize engagement and retention.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and audience behavior, as well as excellent sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics. You will be working closely with the Creative, Marketing, and Social Media teams to bring campaign ideas and content calendars to life. Your ability to translate raw footage and creative concepts into polished final outputs will be essential to the team's success.

What You Will Do
- Edit high-performing short-form videos for social media platforms, ensuring they capture attention, drive engagement, and perform across platforms.
- Craft strong hooks, pacing, and storytelling flow to maximize engagement and retention.
- Add subtitles, motion graphics, transitions, music, and VFX to enhance visual impact.
- Adapt content across multiple platforms while maintaining consistency in tone and brand messaging.
- Work closely with Creative, Marketing, and Social Media teams to bring campaign ideas and content calendars to life.
- Translate raw footage and creative concepts into polished final outputs.
- Contribute ideas on editing styles, formats, and visual storytelling approaches.
- Support videographers in refining and repurposing raw content into final deliverables.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, editing techniques, and viral formats.
- Monitor competitor and creator content to identify best practices and creative opportunities.
- Continuously experiment with new editing styles to improve engagement performance.
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Film, Multimedia, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3+ years of experience in short-form video editing or social media content production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and audience behavior.
- Excellent sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong portfolio/showreel showcasing short-form content editing is required.
- Proficiency in CapCut is a bonus.
- Ability to maintain organized project files, media assets, and version control systems.

- Experience with social media content production for global brands.
