What You Will Do

  • Repair and maintain power generators and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Install and commission equipment, ensuring that it is properly set up and functioning as expected
  • Test, certify, and ensure compliance of equipment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards
  • Act as an ambassador for Sunbelt Rentals, building positive customer relationships and providing exceptional customer service
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality, and compliance
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Use Excel to track and record equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure equipment is always available
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers, as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve equipment maintenance and customer service

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of power generation equipment and mechanical principles
  • Experience with installation methods and commissioning of equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Current full UK driving license
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, as needed
  • Experience with Excel and other software applications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a similar role, such as a mechanical technician or electrician
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Experience with Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) of equipment
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
