About the Role

The PR & Communications Manager at Bjak will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's external narrative across international markets. This involves developing and executing global communications and PR strategies, building and managing relationships with media, creators, podcasts, tech publications, and strategic external partners. As a key member of the team, you will help build awareness, credibility, and relevance for Bjak worldwide.

The role is highly dynamic, requiring a deep understanding of global media ecosystems, digital platforms, and online culture. You will work closely with the founding team to secure media coverage, interviews, speaking opportunities, and strategic placements. With a strong focus on storytelling, you will write and edit press materials, messaging frameworks, founder narratives, and communication assets.

Bjak operates with high talent density, fast execution speed, and strong ownership. As such, this role requires a self-directed and execution-oriented individual who can operate independently in fast-moving environments.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute global communications and PR strategies across key international markets
  • Build and manage relationships with media, creators, podcasts, tech publications, and strategic external partners globally
  • Shape Bjak's external narrative across AI, technology, product, and company positioning
  • Secure media coverage, interviews, speaking opportunities, and strategic placements
  • Write and edit press materials, messaging frameworks, founder narratives, and communication assets
  • Coordinate announcements, launches, and media engagements across regions and time zones
  • Track coverage, audience sentiment, and communication effectiveness to refine strategy over time
  • Collaborate with the founding team to develop and implement communication plans
  • Manage and maintain a press kit, including press releases, media coverage, and other communication materials

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in communications, PR, media relations, or strategic storytelling
  • Experience working with technology, AI, consumer internet, or high-growth companies
  • Strong understanding of global media ecosystems, digital platforms, and online culture
  • Strong writing and editing ability in English
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear and compelling narratives
  • Strong judgment in handling external communications, messaging, and positioning
  • Self-directed and execution-oriented, with the ability to operate independently in fast-moving environments
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
