About the Role

Sezzle is seeking a talented and motivated PR & Social Media Intern to join its team in Colombia. As a key member of the marketing team, you will play a critical support role in building and amplifying Sezzle's brand presence across key social media channels, including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok. Your day-to-day tasks will involve developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and supporting ongoing communications initiatives. You will work closely with the PR and Marketing teams to drive sales and basket sizes for Sezzle's eCommerce merchant partners. The role is a blend of creativity and analytics, requiring you to think strategically about how to resonate with Sezzle's audiences while also tracking performance and identifying opportunities for optimization. You will gain hands-on experience in brand storytelling, digital engagement, and public relations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. What You Will Do

  • Assist in developing and executing social media strategies across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Create and schedule engaging, on-brand content, including copy, visuals, and short-form video concepts
  • Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for Sezzle to participate in relevant conversations
  • Support PR initiatives, including media monitoring, coverage tracking, and building press recaps
  • Track and report on social and PR performance metrics, helping identify insights and optimizations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media strategies with business objectives
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Sezzle's brand voice and tone
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices
  • Assist in the development of social media campaigns to drive engagement and conversions
  • Analyze social media metrics to inform future content and strategy decisions

What We Are Looking For

  • 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing, PR, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and report on social media metrics
