About the Role
The Principal AI Architect will play a key role in defining and driving the AI strategy and architecture vision within PointClickCare's B2B SaaS and enterprise technology environment. As a senior technical authority, this individual will shape the direction of AI initiatives and enterprise platforms, driving architectural decisions across product, revenue, and corporate systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI architecture and enterprise platform experience, with the ability to operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, and governance.The Principal AI Architect will be responsible for designing and governing AI solutions across the full customer lifecycle, including marketing, sales, solution engineering, quoting, contracting, billing, revenue recognition, service, and customer success management. This will involve architecting and scaling Generative AI, agent-based systems, and other AI technologies to support business growth and innovation.
What You Will Do
- Define and drive the enterprise AI strategy and architecture vision
- Design and govern AI solutions across the customer lifecycle
- Architect and scale AI technologies, including Generative AI and agent-based systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive AI initiatives and enterprise platform decisions
- Develop and maintain technical roadmaps for AI and enterprise platforms
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI and enterprise platforms
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including product, revenue, and corporate teams
- Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with AI and enterprise platform initiatives
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in AI architecture and enterprise platform development
- Strong technical expertise in AI technologies, including Generative AI and agent-based systems
- Experience with Salesforce and other enterprise platforms
- Strong understanding of software development principles and practices
- Excellent technical leadership and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive technical decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-based AI technologies and platforms
- Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning principles and techniques
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
