About the Role

The Principal Consultant, Senior Director role at Fortrea is a senior-level position that requires a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and a strong background in consulting. This role entails developing and implementing client strategies, managing client relationships, and driving business development efforts. As a key member of the Fortrea team, the Principal Consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client engagements and drive business growth.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and leading the scoping and budgeting of consulting activities. The Principal Consultant will also be responsible for delivering strategic, methodological, and conceptual expertise in client engagements and communicating project findings to clients in an effective manner.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement client strategies to drive business growth and improve client outcomes
  • Manage key client relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Lead the scoping and budgeting of consulting activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client engagements
  • Deliver strategic, methodological, and conceptual expertise in client engagements
  • Communicate project findings to clients in an effective manner
  • Drive business development efforts, including attendance at conferences, proposal development, and bid defenses
  • Lead internal innovation initiatives to respond to market and client needs
  • Author industry-leading white papers in area of expertise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client engagements
  • Advise on scientific or technical matters within area of expertise

What We Are Looking For

  • Graduate-level degree in a relevant discipline, such as public health, public policy, business, economics, statistics, data science, epidemiology, health economics, or pharmacy
  • Demonstrated success and scientific and technical expertise in at least one area of RWE, HEOR, market access, value demonstration, reimbursement strategy, or regulatory strategy
  • Strong experience in consulting and in at least one related discipline
  • Established and maintained client relationships and a strong network of contacts in the industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel internationally to support the business, as needed
  • Strong business development, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to challenge conventional thinking to solve client issues and develop solutions

Nice to Have

  • Doctoral-level degree in a relevant discipline, with scientific or technical knowledge and know-how in line with client expectations
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines in the RWE, HEOR, and market access space
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation, and the ability to communicate complex data insights to clients
