About the Role
As a Principal Design System Designer at Twin Health, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's design language and standards, ensuring consistency and excellence across all products and platforms. What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain the design system, ensuring it is comprehensive, consistent, and scalable
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design decisions that meet business objectives and user needs
- Conduct user research to inform design decisions and ensure the design system meets user needs
- Create design guidelines, standards, and best practices for the company
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure design consistency across all products and platforms
- Develop and maintain design documentation and assets
- Provide design feedback and guidance to junior designers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the design system
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the development of the company's design strategy
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure design solutions meet clinical and user needs
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in design, with a focus on design systems and digital product design
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in design systems, user-centered design, and visual design
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and clinical
- Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and user experience
- Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience working in the digital health industry
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning principles
- Experience with front-end development and coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Certification in design or a related field
- Experience with design systems management tools such as Storybook or Bit
