About the Role
Nagarro is seeking a seasoned Principal Engineer, Cloud to spearhead its cloud engineering efforts. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability. What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure, including architecture, security, and compliance
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud adoption, innovation, and best practices
- Develop and execute strategic plans to improve cloud services, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems and applications
- Participate in the development of cloud-related standards, policies, and procedures
- Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud computing
- Provide technical leadership and expertise to drive business outcomes and growth
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation plans
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on leadership and technical expertise
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Proven track record of driving innovation, adoption, and results-oriented solutions
- Strong understanding of cloud economics, cost optimization, and financial management
- Experience with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-native applications, serverless computing, and containerization
- Knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data analytics
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
- Certification in cloud engineering, architecture, or a related field
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including data lakes, warehouses, and analytics
