About the Role
The Principal GTM Talent Advisor role at Twilio is a strategic and autonomous position that requires a talented professional to serve as a principal talent advisor and strategic thought partner to the Go-to-Market (GTM) and Sales leadership teams. This role involves translating business goals into comprehensive, forward-looking talent strategies and balancing immediate headcount needs against long-term organizational planning. What You Will Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to meet the business goals of the GTM and Sales leadership teams
- Provide expert-level talent advice and strategic guidance to senior leaders, balancing immediate hiring needs against long-term organizational planning
- Act as a role model and mentor within the TA and People Partnerships teams, challenging assumptions and influencing change
- Proactively use market analytics, talent intelligence, and internal data to model talent scenarios and coach senior leaders on market trends and hiring practices
- Own high-stakes, end-to-end GTM searches, partnering closely with VP-level executives, HRBPs, and cross-functional teams to find and secure world-class revenue-generating talent
- Communicate and negotiate with candidates, ensuring the best possible hiring outcomes for Twilio
- Align interviewer panels on assessment criteria to drive the best possible hiring outcomes
- Advise and guide senior leaders on defining success profiles, prioritization, location decisions, and critical trade-offs based on skills-informed assessments
- Collaborate with the People Partnerships team to ensure seamless integration of new hires into the organization
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or a related field, with a focus on GTM and sales leadership roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies
- Expertise in market analytics, talent intelligence, and internal data analysis
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the GTM and sales functions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Strong mentorship and leadership skills, with experience in guiding and developing junior team members
