About the Role
As a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Toast, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing AI-powered solutions to revolutionize the company's sales operations. As a Principal Machine Learning Engineer, you will be working closely with the team to identify opportunities for automation, develop machine learning models, and integrate them with the company's sales systems. You will also be collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure that the solutions you develop meet the company's business needs.

What You Will Do
- Develop and implement machine learning models to drive sales growth and efficiency
- Design and build automated workflows to integrate with Salesforce and other sales systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and develop solutions
- Develop and maintain software applications to support sales operations
- Work with data scientists and engineers to develop and implement data-driven solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and collaboration
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the team's codebase
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales enablement tools
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to support machine learning model development
What We Are Looking For
- Extensive experience in machine learning, software development, and sales operations
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and software design patterns
- Experience with Salesforce and other sales systems
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Go
- Experience with data science tools and technologies, including machine learning frameworks and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS or Azure
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
