About the Role
The Principal Presales Engineer, Product Specialist - CDP, Martech, AI role at Twilio is a critical position that acts as the bridge between complex enterprise accounts and the company's Product teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to identify and share technology patterns and shifts from clients and prospects, influencing product strategy and driving thought leadership.

What You Will Do
- Develop expertise in the Twilio platform, use cases, and buyer personas, while staying current on CDP, AI, and data engineering trends
- Architect the Technical Win: scope, design, and build multi-product solution architecture and compelling presentations to secure the Technical Win
- Design creative solutions across customer data flows, AI decisioning, and end-to-end customer journey design
- Educate cross-functional teams on product-specific knowledge, enablement, strategy, and solutions
- Mentor sales and SE team members on value-selling strategies and complex solution selling
- Document recent patterns and technology shifts with clients and prospects to influence Product and R&D strategy
- Drive Thought Leadership: proactively contribute to the Specialist Org strategy and the multi-product GTM motion
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to identify and share technology patterns and shifts from clients and prospects
- Influence product strategy and drive innovation
What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex solutions sales cycles, including novel solution scoping, design, and validation
- Expert stakeholder collaboration and influencing skills
- 6+ years of progressive presales experience, including complex solution architecture
- 2+ years of demonstrated expertise in CDP and/or martech related platforms - including data engineering, data modeling, and/or
- Strong understanding of Customer Data Platforms and martech platforms
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
