About the Role

The Principal Product Manager Acquisition Products will play a crucial role in driving the development of ButterflyMX's acquisition products. This involves understanding customer needs, identifying areas for improvement, and leading the team to create innovative solutions. As a key member of the product team, you will be responsible for owning the product roadmap, evaluating assumptions, and evolving the plan based on your findings.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will be an integral part of this growth, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product development and improvement.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve working with various stakeholders, including customers, operators, and internal teams. You will need to navigate complex integration landscapes, conduct rigorous discovery, and establish metrics to measure success.

What You Will Do

  • Take ownership of the product roadmap for acquisition products, evaluating assumptions and evolving the plan based on findings
  • Define and drive the end-to-end experience across two connected user groups, focusing on consumer-facing and operator-facing experiences
  • Identify areas where AI-driven automation can reduce friction and improve outcomes, building capabilities that earn trust
  • Navigate complex integration landscapes, working with third-party platforms and data sources
  • Conduct rigorous discovery by getting close to end users and operators, sharpening problem definitions, and iterating with Design and Engineering on solutions
  • Establish metrics that matter and hold yourself accountable to them
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Engineering, and Marketing, to drive product development and improvement
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity
  • Communicate product plans and progress to stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of owning products from concept to market
  • Funnel and conversion fluency, with the ability to identify where a journey breaks down and how to fix it
  • Consumer UX instincts for high-stakes decisions, understanding the importance of trust, clarity, and confidence
  • Deep familiarity with AI-driven communication and workflow automation, with a focus on responsible deployment
  • B2B2C fluency, with experience building products that serve both end-users and buyers
  • Integration-savviness, with the ability to navigate complex third-party ecosystems and understand product tradeoffs
  • AI-native thinking, with a focus on asking how intelligence can be applied to product problems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-informed decision-making
