About the Role
As a Principal Product Manager at Equinix, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap definition for the company's Physical Interconnection Portfolio. This includes driving the development of core physical interconnection capabilities, such as Cross Connects, Metro Connect, and Fiber Connect. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, architecture, UX, operations, sales, and marketing, to deliver impactful products that accelerate customer adoption and drive platform growth.The role is highly visible and has a significant impact on the company's success. You will be expected to partner with key stakeholders to define and evolve the product vision and long-term roadmap, aligned with company strategy and customer needs. Your technical expertise and business acumen will be essential in identifying market opportunities, developing business cases, and driving product requirements.

What You Will Do
- Define and evolve the product vision and long-term roadmap for Equinix Physical Interconnection
- Identify market opportunities in areas such as cloud networking, AI networking, ecosystem expansion, and distributed architectures
- Develop business cases, pricing strategies, and investment plans for market expansion and new capabilities
- Drive product requirements, feature prioritization, and backlog management with engineering teams
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable product requirements and user experiences
- Engage with enterprise, cloud, network, AI, and digital service provider customers to understand use cases, pain points, and emerging trends
- Partner with customer-success and field teams to support strategic customer conversations
- Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, operations, security, legal, and go-to-market teams
- Enable sales and marketing teams with product positioning, messaging, and collateral
- Serve as a thought leader in cloud networking, hybrid multicloud architecture, AI networking, and ecosystem interconnection
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in cloud/AI networking, service provider networking, hybrid multicloud, interconnection, or related domains
- Strong technical understanding of Layer 1, 2, and 3 networking fundamentals
- Experience with cloud networking services, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud, etc.
- Global and Regional Carrier Network and Fiber strategies knowledge
- Ability to synthesize technical concepts into customer and business value
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience working with global engineering and cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with interconnection platforms, carrier networking, or digital exchange services
- Exposure to ML/AI-based networking optimizations
- MBA or background in strategy, business, or entrepreneurship
