Job Description

About the Role

The Principal Product Manager role at Globalization Partners is a unique opportunity to drive the development of AI-driven products and workflows that are changing the way businesses operate globally. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end discovery process, from framing jobs-to-be-done to building prototypes and managing low-fidelity experiments. You will work closely with a Software Engineer II / Product Builder to ship weekly "sketchy V0s" and fake-door experiments, optimizing for speed of validated learning.

The role is part of the company's Horizon 3 (H3) Discovery Engine, an autonomous unit that explores radical macroeconomic shifts and AI-agent economies. You will have dedicated "air cover" to bypass traditional corporate roadblocks and build net-new business concepts from 0 to 1. This requires extreme ownership, a relentless bias for action, and an obsession with behavioral validation over internal alignment.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will be working in a tight, single-threaded pod alongside a Software Engineer II / Product Builder. You will have the opportunity to work on complex, friction-filled global industries and encode those workflows into digital products.

What You Will Do

  • Drive the end-to-end H3 discovery process, framing jobs-to-be-done, building prototypes, and managing low-fidelity experiments.
  • Collaborate with your Engineering counterpart to ship weekly "sketchy V0s" and fake-door experiments, optimizing for speed of validated learning.
  • Talk to target users, alpha participants, and industry edge-cases constantly to gather customer insights and build deep qualitative empathy.
  • Manage by learning milestones, obsessing over a strict succession of metrics before considering delivery economics or monetization.
  • Actively evaluate data points from weekly probes to confidently make "Persevere, Pivot, or Kill" recommendations, treating a quick, low-cost "Kill" as a major win.
  • Maintain a disciplined focus on radical innovation, calling out and rejecting ideas that are merely incremental optimizations.
  • Develop mid-fidelity prototypes independently when required without a designer.
  • Break complex, friction-filled global industries down to their primitives and encode those workflows into digital products.
  • Leverage modern AI primitives daily to build products and treat AI as a structural foundation.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration of new products and features.

What We Are Looking For

  • Engineering background, with the ability to read code, reason about technical architecture, and partner as a true peer with engineering counterparts.
  • Proven track record of taking raw ideas from concept to early product-market fit, running discovery, and turning qualitative data into immediate execution.
  • Strong product sense and design ability, with the ability to develop mid-fidelity prototypes independently.
  • Exceptional ability to work with fragmented usage data, behavioral metrics, and qualitative research to generate fast insights.
  • Ability to break complex, friction-filled global industries down to their primitives and encode those workflows into digital products.
  • Experience with modern AI primitives, such as Cursor agents and LLM orchestration.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment with a high degree of ambiguity.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of global employment platforms and the complexities of establishing local entities.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and the ability to work in a tight, single-threaded pod.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and SaaS-based solutions.

Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • Opportunity to work on complex, global projects and make a significant impact on the company's success.
  • Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a team of experienced professionals.
  • Flexible working hours and remote work options.
  • Professional development opportunities, including training and education programs.
  • Access to the latest technologies and tools, including modern AI primitives and data analysis software.
  • Recognition and reward programs for outstanding performance and contributions.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness programs, including mental health support and employee assistance programs.

How to Stand Out

  • Be prepared to provide specific examples of your experience with AI-driven product development and your ability to manage complex workflows.
  • Make sure to highlight your technical skills, including your ability to read code and reason about technical architecture.
  • Show a strong understanding of the company's mission and values, and be prepared to discuss how your skills and experience align with those.
  • Be prepared to talk about your experience with data analysis and your ability to generate fast insights from fragmented usage data and behavioral metrics.
  • Consider creating a portfolio of your work, including examples of your product management experience and your ability to develop mid-fidelity prototypes.
  • Be prepared to discuss your experience with modern AI primitives and your ability to leverage those to build products.
  • Don't be afraid to ask questions during the interview process, and be prepared to discuss your thoughts on the company's products and services.
