Job Description

About the Role

The Principal Product Manager for Groups Connectivity plays a pivotal role in Engine's mission to transform business travel into a personalized, rewarding, and simple experience. This position is responsible for owning the foundational layer that enables group travel connectivity, including integrations, APIs, and supplier relationships. The role requires close collaboration with a principal architect and senior engineering talent to rewire how Engine connects with the hospitality supply chain.

Day-to-day, the Principal Product Manager will focus on defining and driving the strategy for how Engine integrates with hotel supply at scale. This entails developing PMS partnerships, real-time availability pipelines, and the APIs that facilitate instant group booking. The goal is to drive hotel response rates to zero friction, ensuring seamless and efficient group travel experiences.

The Principal Product Manager will work within a high-autonomy, high-stakes environment, making decisions that compound across every group booking Engine processes. This role is ideal for a seasoned product management professional with a strong background in building platform or connectivity products at scale.

What You Will Do

  • Define and drive the strategy for Engine's integrations with hotel supply at scale
  • Develop PMS partnerships to enhance real-time availability and instant booking capabilities
  • Design and implement APIs that facilitate seamless group travel experiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Groups Contracting, Engineering, and RevOps
  • Identify and prioritize the highest-leverage opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Lead the development of platform-level thinking to support internal Groups workflows and potential B2B API offerings
  • Integrate AI-assisted workflows to accelerate cycle times and reduce manual overhead
  • Analyze and optimize hotel response rates to achieve zero friction
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external supply partners

What We Are Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on platform or connectivity products
  • Strong background in building and maintaining APIs, integrations, or supply-side infrastructure
  • Experience working with travel industry suppliers and partners
  • Proven track record of driving growth and improvement in complex, high-stakes environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
