Job Description
About the Role
As a Principal Product Manager at Twilio, you will be at the forefront of driving the company's product vision and strategy for its Trust Hub products. This includes owning the end-to-end development and launch of products that aim to create streamlined and lovable registration experiences while maintaining best-in-class KYC standards. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX, and external stakeholders, to ensure the successful execution of the product roadmap.The Trust Hub is Twilio's KYC Platform, serving as the gateway to accessing all of Twilio's communication APIs. The role of a Principal Product Manager in this context is not only to drive the development of these critical products but also to ensure that they meet the evolving needs of Twilio's customers and the rapidly changing regulatory landscape.
What You Will Do
- Develop, communicate, and generate excitement for the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams in planning, designing, developing, and launching products that execute on the vision.
- Deeply understand customer needs and collaborate with engineering and UX to translate these into product requirements and user stories.
- Define key metrics to evaluate product performance, constantly analyzing data to inform product decisions and measure success.
- Manage relationships and expectations with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Mentor junior product managers on product management best practices and support their professional development.
- Conduct regular data-driven business reviews that analyze product execution and revenue/market accomplishments.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand market needs and competitor activity.
- Work closely with the customer success team to ensure product meets customer needs.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management in SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS.
- Proven track record of leading successful product launches and driving product strategies.
- Command of analytical thinking skills with the ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to make product decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and platforms.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and manage remote teams.
