About the Role
The Principal Project Manager position at CommandLink is a pivotal role that oversees the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and ERP solutions. This role is critical in driving business transformation by ensuring that technology solutions meet the company's strategic objectives. Day-to-day, the Principal Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.The success of this role depends heavily on the ability to manage complex projects, facilitate communication among diverse teams, and drive the adoption of new technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ERP implementations and the ability to navigate the organizational change that comes with such projects.

What You Will Do
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of D365/ERP implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
- Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation plans, and project schedules.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and performance monitoring.
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that projects are fully integrated with existing systems.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions.
- Analyze project outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies.
