About the Role
The Principal Solutions Architect role at CDW is a field-based, technical pre-sales position focused on developing comprehensive Hybrid Infrastructure solutions for customers in the healthcare sector. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with customers, delivery teams, and internal sales to drive business growth and maintain strategic relationships. Your expertise in programmatic solutions and Excel will be crucial in providing consultative guidance and supporting partner product sales.The role involves a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges, regulations, and best practices, allowing you to provide tailored recommendations and position CDW's solutions effectively within the industry landscape. You will be responsible for scoping service offerings, fostering strategic relationships, and driving outreach initiatives to educate coworkers and customers about technology needs and industry trends.

What You Will Do
- Develop comprehensive Hybrid Infrastructure solutions for CDW customers, including architecture, optimizations, technology health checks, deployment services, and advisory services.
- Collaborate with customers, delivery teams, and internal sales to offer consultative guidance, plan sales strategy, and author statements of work (SOWs).
- Analyze technical and competitive considerations, defining actions to meet customer expectations in the sales cycle by engaging customers in visioning exercises that map programmatically aligned solutions to their desired journey.
- Maintain strategic relationships with customers, internal sales, and delivery management, acting as a trusted advisor to drive business growth.
- Maintain top partner certifications, sales presentation training, and certifications, with a minimum of 5 certifications for top partners.
- Seek, attend, and drive customer engagement at company-approved events and conferences (virtual and in-person).
- Engage with partners to create customer engagement events and attend industry leader conferences to drive customer attendance.
- Design content for practice to be used internally (within the team, sales, or leadership) or in speaking engagements at industry conferences.
- Act as a subject matter expert in multiple families of products and solutions, driving outreach initiatives, technical enablement projects, coaching, and mentoring for other SAs, Solution Executives, and Field Sellers.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Minimum of ten years of experience in a technical, pre-sales, or post-sale delivery role, with a focus on Hybrid Infrastructure solutions.
- Motivated, self-starting, and able to independently perform high-quality work with minimal guidance.
- Industry knowledge and domain expertise, with a deep understanding of the architecture, products, technologies, and solutions offered by CDW.
- Experience with networking and data center technologies, including enterprise routing and switching, compute, storage, virtualization platforms, and modern data center architectures.
- Ability to design or support end-to-end Hybrid Infrastructure solutions that integrate on-premise and cloud-based technologies.
- Strong programmatic skills, with proficiency in Excel and other relevant tools.

- Experience working in the healthcare sector, with a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and regulations.
