About the Role
As a Principal, Technical Program Management at Twilio, you will play a critical role in driving the company's Research and Development (R&D) efforts. You will be responsible for leading high-impact, cross-organizational technical programs that accelerate R&D's business impact. What You Will Do
- Lead high-impact, cross-org technical programs that drive business, operational, and technical improvements across Engineering and Product organizations
- Set program strategy and lead program teams to successfully deliver business, operational, and technical improvements
- Align cross-org delivery and dependencies, managing the execution roadmap across Product and Engineering teams
- Partner with senior engineers and architects to validate integration patterns and operational risks
- Define and drive the execution strategy, establishing sequencing, governance models, and integration approaches for large-scale initiatives
- Move beyond project planning to define launch readiness criteria and operational success metrics that ensure high-quality releases
- Navigate seamlessly between big-picture planning and hands-on delivery to ensure key initiatives move forward in a dynamic, scaled agile environment
- Adapt your program portfolio proactively in response to evolving business needs and organizational complexity
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on R&D and product development
- Strong expertise in GTM, Excel, and other relevant tools and technologies
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact technical programs that drive business results
- Excellent strategic thinking and execution skills, with the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional projects
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to drive data-backed decisions
