About the Role

The Principal Technical Program Manager at Bayer will play a critical role in driving the company's digital transformation in the agriculture space. What You Will Do

  • Support the Director of Engineering Program Management in strategic execution and process optimization
  • Own and drive technically challenging program and project execution across Bayer Crop Science and Digital Farming Solutions
  • Apply technical and business acumen to collaborate with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders
  • Influence continuous improvement of tools, frameworks, and methodologies used by APMO members and stakeholders
  • Facilitate solution-scale meetings and drive change management at all levels across the company
  • Contribute to the APMO technical community hub, including refining agile coaching practices and peer mentoring
  • Design and grow programmatic training and continuing education on SAFe and Lean-Agile practices and principles
  • Lead confidently and mentor other leaders while operating in uncertainty
  • Partner with leaders and teams across DFS, building credibility and buy-in to drive measurable improvements in flow and business agility

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience leading engineering programs
  • BS degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience leading adoption and continuous improvement within an agile framework
  • Proven track record of leading delivery excellence and designing business processes to address structural or systematic inefficiencies
  • Experience with programmatic tools and technologies, such as Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong business acumen and technical expertise

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAFe and Lean-Agile practices and principles
  • Knowledge of regenerative agriculture and technology breakthroughs
