About the Role

As a Private Equity Analyst at Friedom Partners, you will be an integral part of the investment team, responsible for conducting in-depth research and financial analysis to inform investment decisions. Your day-to-day tasks will include analyzing financial models, monitoring portfolio companies, and developing corporate strategies. You will work closely with the Founding Partner and CEO, who has a proven track record of success in the industry, having raised and deployed over

As a Private Equity Analyst, you will have the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills, from financial modeling and data analysis to investment sourcing and due diligence.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct research on technology, software, and health/wellness/healthcare businesses to identify potential investment opportunities
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment decisions
  • Prepare investor materials, including decks, memos, and financial models
  • Monitor portfolio companies and related news/events to inform investment strategies
  • Develop corporate strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Work closely with the Founding Partner and CEO to support the development of the investment company
  • Participate in all areas of the private equity fund, including sourcing, due diligence, and investor relations
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors and portfolio company management

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in investment banking, management consulting, and/or private equity/venture capital
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to conduct in-depth research and analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with Canva or other design tools
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Experience with financial software, such as Bloomberg or FactSet
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or R
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello
