Job Description
About the Role
The Procurement Analyst position at NNData is a critical role that requires expertise in acquisition policy development, contract management, and data analysis. As a key member of the procurement team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing acquisition policies, managing contracts, and analyzing data to inform business decisions. The role is based in the United States and may require travel up to 10% of the time.In this role, the Procurement Analyst will work closely with the contracting community to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures. This will involve providing expert advice, conducting reviews, and analyzing findings to identify areas for improvement. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and delivering training to the contracting community and representing the agency on high-level working groups.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement analysis, with a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. They will also have a bachelor's degree and be capable of obtaining and maintaining a SECRET security clearance.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement acquisition policies to improve operational efficiency
- Manage contracts and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures
- Analyze data to inform business decisions and identify areas for improvement
- Provide expert advice to the contracting community on the interpretation and application of acquisition laws, regulations, and directives
- Conduct reviews and analyze findings to ensure adherence to established contracting policies and procedures
- Represent the agency on high-level working groups with representatives from the Department
- Develop and deliver training to the contracting community to ensure personnel possess the skills required for effective mission execution
- Serve as the lead for an eBusiness capability, responsible for user training and direct problem resolution
- Identify and introduce processes to the contracting community that improve operational efficiency and enable data-driven decision-making
- Analyze acquisition data and policy matters to prepare reports for leadership and draft official responses to complex issues, proposed legislation, and Congressional inquiries
What We Are Looking For
- A minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service
- A bachelor's degree
