## About the Role As a Procurement Carrier Relationship Manager at Zenlayer, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's carrier relationships in North Asia. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, develop strategic plans, and negotiate agreements with carriers. Your expertise in telecom, data center, or cloud industry will be essential in navigating the complex landscape of carrier relationships. ## What You Will Do - Develop and manage strategic carrier relationships to meet business objectives - Negotiate and manage carrier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures - Analyze market trends, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop strategic plans - Manage day-to-day carrier operations, resolving issues and escalating concerns as needed - Develop and maintain detailed records of carrier relationships, contracts, and performance metrics - Identify areas for process improvements, implementing changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs - Provide training and support to junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise - Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and internal teams

## What We Are Looking For - 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the telecom, data center, or cloud industry - Bachelor's degree in business administration, inventory management, finance, or a related field - Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications - Well-organized, detail-oriented, and responsible, with excellent time management skills - Great written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders - Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work with minimal direction - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically - Bilingual in English, with reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills

## Nice to Have - Experience working with international carriers and managing global relationships - Knowledge of data center operations, including infrastructure and network management - Familiarity with cloud services, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - Certification in procurement, logistics, or a related field - Experience with project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Jira
