## About the Role The Procurement Specialist role at Lattice is a critical component of the accounting team, focusing on building value through supplier and stakeholder relationships and balanced agreements. As a key member of a small but impactful team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on the full procurement lifecycle, utilizing procurement orchestration tools and collaborating with cross-functional leaders. - Partner with cross-functional leaders, stakeholders, and department contacts to align deals with team requirements.
- Provide consultation to internal teams before, during, and after deal cycles to ensure the right purchases are made.
- Utilize procurement orchestration tools (P2P) to manage the procurement lifecycle efficiently.
- Collaborate with the FP&A, Finance, IT, Security, Compliance, Privacy, and Legal teams to ensure comprehensive deal coverage.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and mitigate risks in procurement agreements.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records within Lattice systems, including deal statuses, vendor records, and intake reviews.
- Stay updated on market trends and supplier offerings to negotiate the best possible deals.
- Ensure all procurement activities are conducted with integrity, adhering to Lattice's policies and ethical standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the procurement process.
- Strong understanding of SaaS procurement, services agreements, and supplier relationships.
- Hands-on experience with procurement orchestration tools, ideally Zip.
- Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance.
- Clear, thoughtful communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style based on audience and situation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, Finance, IT, and Legal.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Finance.
- Certification in procurement, such as CPSM or CPM.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools to support procurement decisions.
- Experience with contract management software.
- Fluency in more than one language, given Lattice's global customer base.
