Job Description

About the Role

The Product Analyst role at Squarespace is a critical position that will serve as the analytical backbone of the product team, translating complex financial and product data into coherent performance narratives that drive actionable insights for senior executives. This role will partner with the Product and Growth Leadership team to turn complex data into stories that guide business growth and leadership decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The Product Analyst will be responsible for identifying key insights that shape strategies for acquiring and retaining customers, architecting data infrastructure from both native and legacy sources to generate executive dashboards, and enhancing the legibility of data to expand reporting capabilities. This role will also involve developing and overseeing a comprehensive performance monitoring framework, managing daily metric tracking and alerts, conducting weekly business reviews, and producing monthly deep-dive analyses for executive stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Identify key insights that shape strategies for acquiring and retaining customers
  • Architect data infrastructure from both native and legacy sources to generate executive dashboards
  • Enhance the legibility of data to expand reporting capabilities
  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive performance monitoring framework
  • Manage daily metric tracking and alerts

  • Design and maintain scalable reporting systems and dashboards

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in strategy, process execution, business intelligence, dashboarding, reporting, or data analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with business intelligence tools
  • Expert-level Excel/Google Sheets skills, including complex modeling, pivots, and advanced formulas
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and experimental design
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools
  • Experience in designing and implementing metrics frameworks to measure business performance
  • Proven track record of translating complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations

Nice to Have

  • Experience with automated technical frameworks to convert growth initiatives into strategic business intelligence
