About the Role
The Product Data Analyst (L3) at Twilio is a critical role that will help drive data-informed decisions across the organization. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for uncovering and delivering product data, analysis, and insights that empower stakeholders to maximize the impact of data in decision-making. You will own analytics workstreams from end to end, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and develop solutions.The role is perfect for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about working with data to drive business outcomes. What You Will Do
- Own complex analytics projects from scoping ambiguous problems to delivering actionable, data-driven insights
- Partner with Product Managers to define metrics, build reporting dashboards, and inject data into product planning
- Apply SQL and visualization tools (Looker, Tableau) to translate complex data into clear stakeholder recommendations
- Maintain and document metrics, datasets, and models using Confluence and Datahub to ensure a single source of truth
- Balance multiple concurrent initiatives with clear prioritization and proactive status updates
- Maintain rigorous data quality standards through robust validation and transparent quality control
- Integrate modern AI tools into daily workflows to speed up SQL coding, analysis, and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and develop solutions
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to track key metrics and performance indicators
What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics, with a proven track record of converting complex, ambiguous data into actionable business results
- 4+ years of hands-on experience writing, optimizing, and performing quality assurance (QA) in SQL or relational database languages on a regular basis
- Proficiency with modern BI tools, with a strong preference for Tableau and Looker (LookML)
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to decompose vague problem statements into clear, executable data stories
- Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis to drive business decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques, with the ability to create clear and compelling stories with data
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
Nice to Have
- Experience working with AI and machine learning tools and techniques
- Proficiency with programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Experience working in a remote-first environment, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
