About the Role
The Product Design System Expert Evaluator role at Contra involves working on a research project for one of the world's top design companies, utilizing your professional expertise to make decisions about design system adherence and implementation in product design outputs from next-gen creative AI tools. What You Will Do
- Evaluate product design outputs from next-gen creative AI tools and provide precise, actionable feedback on design system adherence
- Utilize your expertise in design systems, specifically Google's Material Design, to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure design system quality and consistency
- Develop and maintain documentation of design system adherence and implementation
- Provide user experience feedback to improve the overall quality of design outputs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve design system quality
- Work closely with the project team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the design system and its application in product design
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on design systems and user experience
- Experience working with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe, and knowledge of Google's Material Design
- Proven track record of providing high-quality, actionable feedback on design system adherence
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of design principles and human-centered design methodologies
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the potential to work up to 40 hours per week
- Strong portfolio showcasing design system expertise and experience working with design teams
