About the Role
Penn Interactive is seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to play a critical role in enabling the company's feature designers and developers to scale products more reliably and efficiently. As a Product Designer specializing in Design Systems, you will be responsible for maintaining and scaling the company's design system, Alley-oop. This is a remote role that offers the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about creating cutting-edge online gaming and sports media products.The role entails day-to-day collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify design system needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. You will work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to ensure that the design system is scalable, efficient, and easy to use. Your contributions will have a significant impact on the company's ability to deliver high-quality products quickly and reliably.

What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain the company's design system, Alley-oop, to ensure it is scalable, efficient, and easy to use
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify design system needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to ensure that the design system is integrated effectively into the company's products
- Create and maintain design documentation and assets, such as design specs, guidelines, and templates
- Conduct design audits and provide feedback to ensure that the design system is being used consistently and effectively
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design systems and apply that knowledge to continuously improve the company's design system
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as the needs and preferences of its customers
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other designers
- Collaborate with the design team to develop and maintain a consistent design language across all products
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on design systems
- Strong portfolio that showcases your experience in designing and maintaining design systems
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
- Experience with design system management tools such as Storybook or Bit
- Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and user experience (UX) principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex design problems and develop effective solutions
Nice to Have
- Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of accessibility principles and how to apply them to design systems
- Experience with design systems in a remote work environment
