About the Role

As a Product Designer at Experian, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's consumer-facing web and mobile financial wellness and identity protection products. Your expertise will be crucial in crafting delightful and user-centered digital experiences that engage users and simplify their interactions with Experian's services. You will be part of a collaborative UX Design team, working closely with Product Managers, Developers, Analysts, and Marketers to ensure that design strategies align with business goals and user needs.

The role involves leading large-scale UX projects, improving design processes, and delivering high-quality experiences through team collaboration and feedback. You will design across web and mobile platforms to ensure consistency, engagement, and usability across Experian's digital services. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Product Design, offering a structured environment for professional growth and mentorship.

What You Will Do

  • Lead large-scale UX projects, focusing on improving design processes and delivering high-quality digital experiences.
  • Design across web and mobile platforms to ensure consistency, engagement, and usability across Experian's digital services.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and align design strategies with business goals.
  • Create user-centered design assets, including journeys, wireframes, and prototypes, informed by research and usability testing.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to understand product vision and requirements, translating these into design solutions.
  • Work with Developers to ensure design feasibility and to provide design specifications.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on and improve design solutions.
  • Participate in design systems development to ensure consistency across products.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance Experian's design practices.
  • Contribute to the development of the design team, sharing knowledge and best practices.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in UX, Visual Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI and digital product design, with a responsive design portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Jira, and modern design tools, with experience in Agile environments and design systems.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and human-computer interaction.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Experience in leading design projects and managing design teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality design solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
  • Passion for staying current with design trends, technologies, and tools, and applying this knowledge to improve design practices.
