About the Role
The Product Designer role at Nevis is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that's changing the way wealth management is done. As a product designer, you will be responsible for leading the design in your product area, from problem definition to shipping. You will work closely with advisors to understand their problems and inform your design, and you will be expected to move fast and ship often, seeing your work in the hands of real users. The team at Nevis is passionate about building a category-defining product, and they're looking for someone who shares that passion.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include talking to advisors to understand their problems, designing and prototyping in Figma and AI tools, and using and improving the design system to raise the bar for consistency and quality. You will also be expected to give and receive direct feedback and iterate toward the best solution. What You Will Do
- Own the design in your product area, from problem definition to shipping
- Talk to advisors to understand their problems and inform your design
- Design and prototype in Figma and AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor
- Use and improve our design system, raising the bar for consistency and quality
- Give and receive direct feedback and iterate toward the best solution
- Work closely with product owners and engineers to define what to build, not just how
- Ask hard questions, challenge ideas, and advocate for what you think is right
- Simplify complexity and turn high-stakes workflows into something clear and obvious
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
What We Are Looking For
- Prior experience designing complex multi-user products with high data density
- Systems thinking and the ability to simplify complexity
- Speed and the ability to move fast and ship often
- Quality and a deep care for visual design, interactions, and writing
- Experience working with Figma and AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to ask hard questions, challenge ideas, and advocate for what you think is right
Nice to Have
- Experience working in the wealth management industry
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning principles
- Experience working with design systems and improving consistency and quality
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
