About the Role

As a Product Designer at Thatch, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of the company's products. Your work will have a direct impact on how businesses, teams, and brokers interact with Thatch's healthcare solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, growth, product, sales, operations, and leadership. You will be expected to participate in every aspect of the product development process, from idea inception to production, ensuring that design is integrated throughout. What You Will Do

  • Participate in the product development process from idea inception to production
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams to create incredible user experiences
  • Develop and maintain the design system and brand assets
  • Write design documentation and guidelines for internal audiences
  • Iterate on and improve design standards, tooling, and processes
  • Own the entire design process, from UX strategy to product design and company branding
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure design feasibility and best practices
  • Conduct user research to inform design decisions
  • Develop and maintain design prototypes
  • Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in product design roles
  • Obsession with understanding and serving users
  • Demonstrated first-principle thinking and mastery of fundamental design principles
  • Experience operating in ambiguous environments and solving complex user problems
  • Ability to balance blue sky creativity with dedication to craft and bias to action
  • Strong portfolio that showcases your design skills and experience
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite

  • Ability to read and/or write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
