Job Description

About the Role

As a Product Engineer for Cloud Solutions at HMS INDUSTRIAL NETWORKS, SLU, you will play a critical role in driving the development and maintenance of the company's cloud-based product portfolio. This position requires close collaboration with the Product Manager and various development teams to ensure that products meet customer requirements and align with the company's vision and mission. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing new product development projects, maintaining integral product management throughout the product lifecycle, and providing training and support to technical services and commercial teams.

The role is part of the Product Management team and reports to the Product Engineering Leader. You will be expected to execute the strategy for the product portfolio under your responsibility, defined by the Product Manager and aligned with the company's general strategy. Your work will have a direct impact on the company's growth and success, and you will be encouraged to contribute to the development of new ideas and solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Execute the strategy for the product portfolio under your responsibility, defined by the Product Manager and aligned with the company's general strategy
  • Manage new product development projects from conception to launch
  • Maintain integral product management throughout the product lifecycle
  • Provide training and support to technical services and commercial teams
  • Provide training to Distributors/Customers
  • Offer pre-sales and post-sales customer assistance
  • Manage product technical documentation
  • Attend exhibitions and trade shows as required
  • Produce marketing materials, webinars, presentations, courses, and other content as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Supply, and Technical Services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud solutions and IoT

What We Are Looking For

  • Engineering degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, or a related field
  • High level of English and Spanish languages (both written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of IoT platforms, services, and protocols
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented profile with the ability to manage multiple projects and procedures
  • Experience in product development and project management
  • Ability to work in a remote team environment
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and infrastructure
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of building automation protocols (KNX, BACnet, Modbus)
  • Experience with HVAC systems (Direct expansion, VRF, Air-to-Water)
  • Background as a Building Automation system integrator or HVAC integrator/installer
  • Experience in product/project management
  • Proficiency in other languages
