About the Role
As a Product Engineer at Resend, you will be responsible for shaping the core product experience for over 2 million developers who rely on the platform. Your primary focus will be on building polished, user-friendly experiences that simplify complex technical concepts. You will work closely with the design, engineering, and customer success teams to identify user problems and develop high-quality solutions. With a strong emphasis on remote work, you will have the autonomy to work independently and collaborate with the team through digital channels.The role entails a unique blend of product thinking, design details, and user experience, requiring you to move seamlessly between frontend, backend, and product infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to own features end-to-end, from concept to launch, and iterate based on user feedback. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the development of debugging and observability experiences that help users understand what happened to their emails, webhooks, domains, and API requests.

What You Will Do
- Build and maintain high-quality web products using TypeScript, React, and modern web technologies
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and customer success teams to identify user problems and develop solutions
- Own features end-to-end, from concept to launch, and iterate based on user feedback
- Develop debugging and observability experiences that help users understand what happened to their emails, webhooks, domains, and API requests
- Work primarily with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and modern web technologies
- Talk to users, understand customer pain, and turn those insights into better product decisions
- Help raise the bar for craft, performance, accessibility, reliability, and product quality across Resend
- Participate in team offsites, conferences, meetups, and other events to stay connected with the team and industry
- Collaborate with the team to develop and refine the product roadmap
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation
What We Are Looking For
- 6+ years of experience building and shipping high-quality web products
- Fluency in writing and speaking English
- Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and modern frontend development
- Comfort working across the stack, including APIs, databases, server-side logic, and product infrastructure
- Deep understanding of UX, interaction details, and product polish
- Ability to take an ambiguous customer problem and turn it into a clear, shippable solution
- Strong product judgment and ability to drive product decisions with data-driven insights
- Experience working with email, deliverability, DNS, webhooks, logs, observability, or API platforms (nice to have but not required)
- Love for helping developers and caring about developer experience
- Ability to work in open-ended problems and situations
- Low ego and willingness to collaborate with design, engineering, and customer success teams
Nice to Have
- Experience building products for developers, infrastructure teams, or technical users
- Strong visual taste and ability to build interfaces that feel fast, simple, and polished
- Experience working in small, high-ownership teams
- Familiarity with modern email sending platforms and technologies
