As a Product Manager at Acquia, day-to-day responsibilities will involve defining functional requirements that ensure security and performance are treated as foundational platform features. This requires a deep understanding of complex systems and the ability to translate sophisticated security capabilities into clean requirements that make engineering implementation seamless.

## What You Will Do - Support the roadmap for the Edge suite by defining functional requirements that ensure security and performance are treated as foundational platform features - Simplify security complexity by defining workflows that allow the platform to handle operational friction of security, reducing manual effort for customers and engineers alike - Partner with the broader team to ensure Edge and Security features support customer growth and guide customers toward adopting modern, AI-native protections - Act as a 'Context Contributor' within the team, collaborating with peer PMs to build a shared library of technical context - Translate high-level strategy into a prioritized functional roadmap - Work in lockstep with senior architects to translate complex edge-native security capabilities into the fabric of the Unified AI-Native Cloud Platform - Manage the lifecycle of Edge services, ensuring Acquia remains the benchmark for global performance while removing operational burden from customers and internal teams - Provide high-fidelity 'context slices'—threat profiles and security standards—that allow autonomous development tools to handle routine configuration, rule-tuning, and monitoring

## What We Are Looking For - Passion for making complex systems feel simple - Understanding of how to take sophisticated, high-scale security capabilities and translate them into clean requirements - Experience in managing the lifecycle of Edge services and ensuring global performance - Ability to thrive in an Agentic PDLC environment and provide high-fidelity context slices - View of AI as a teammate that multiplies impact, with a willingness to share security context within the team - Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to act as a 'Context Contributor' within the team - Experience working with open source technology, preferably Drupal - Familiarity with cloud platforms and security standards

## Nice to Have - Experience working with AI-native protections and edge-native security capabilities - Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines - Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git
