Job Description

About the Role

The Product Manager for Data Feeds at YipitData is a pivotal role, responsible for owning and scaling several high-value alternative data feed products. This is a strategic position that will drive growth and innovation within the company's fastest-growing segment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the product management model, establishing best practices, and driving impact across a portfolio of data feeds.

As a key member of the Feeds organization, the Product Manager will collaborate closely with quant researchers, product specialists, feed operations, and product marketers. The role involves working with engineering partners to build data feed products on top of proprietary and exclusively licensed alternative datasets. These datasets include transaction data, email receipt data, B2B spend data, and more, serving fundamental, quantitative, and systematic investors.

The Product Manager will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering high-quality data feed products. The role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, both internal and external, and the ability to balance these needs with technical reality. The Product Manager will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and evangelizing the product roadmap, ensuring that the strategy matches technical reality.

What You Will Do

  • Own the product roadmap for one or more data feeds, defining, prioritizing, and evangelizing the product vision and strategy
  • Set product vision and strategy that balances internal customer needs and external client needs
  • Translate business goals into a technical roadmap in close partnership with engineering
  • Contribute to long-term feed portfolio strategy, identifying opportunities for new products, enhancements, and market expansion
  • Share ARR and P&L accountability alongside Product Specialists / Product Enablement partners for the feeds you own
  • Conduct deep customer and market research to understand customer needs and market trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and growth
