About the Role
The Product Manager, Ecosystem Risk at Stripe is a critical role that sits at the intersection of growth and protection. As a key member of the Ecosystem Risk Product Management team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the financial infrastructure that underpins Stripe's growing suite of products and services. This includes developing AI-powered financial crimes controls, designing investigator tools, and driving cross-functional execution across the organization. The role is highly strategic and requires a deep understanding of the digital economy, financial crimes prevention, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.The Ecosystem Risk Product Management team is a highly collaborative and dynamic group that is passionate about building scalable solutions that power the global economy. As a product manager on this team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with engineers, designers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that drive growth and protection for online businesses.
The role is based in New York, Atlanta, or remote, and offers a unique opportunity to work with a highly talented and motivated team. What You Will Do
- Own the vision and multi-year roadmap for AI-powered financial crimes controls, spanning detection, investigation, information collection, and UI and API surfaces
- Develop core infrastructure that underpins Stripe's growing suite of products and services
- Build investigator tools that power accurate case reviews using the best of AI and human expertise
- Drive cross-functional execution by partnering closely with engineering, operations, design, data science, go-to-market, legal, and product teams across Stripe
- Define and own success metrics, navigate complex trade-offs, drive prioritization, and measure outcomes with rigor to demonstrate impact
- Align leadership and stakeholders by synthesizing input from across the organization and external sources, and communicating a clear point of view to peers and executives
- Monitor the external landscape, including regulatory trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings, to inform strategy and identify opportunities
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop and implement machine learning models that drive financial crimes prevention
- Work closely with the design team to develop user-centered interfaces that power investigator tools and other key products
What We Are Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on building infrastructure and user experiences at scale
- Proven track record of operating effectively in highly cross-functional environments
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong understanding of financial crimes prevention and the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes
- Experience with AI-driven solutions and machine learning models
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders across the organization

- Experience with data analysis and metrics-driven decision making
