About the Role
The Product Manager (EHS) at Origami Risk plays a critical role in driving the development of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) products. This position entails leading a team of analysts, collaborating with engineering counterparts, and leveraging AI and data-driven techniques to inform product decisions. As a people leader, the Product Manager will establish and enforce department processes, ensure team members have the necessary tools and skills, and perform ongoing performance evaluations.The Product Manager will own the 12-month product roadmap, aligning the team around high-value business outcomes and researching emerging market and technology needs to promote innovation and differentiation. This role requires a deep understanding of business domain and user expertise to identify product and market opportunities.
In this role, the Product Manager will partner with stakeholders to identify high-value use cases, validate customer problems, and assess the feasibility, risk, and impact of AI-enabled solutions. They will oversee AI experimentation and prototyping efforts, ensure human-in-the-loop decision making, and monitor AI-enabled product features.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a 12-month strategic plan and roadmap for EHS products, aligning with business goals and objectives
- Lead a team of analysts, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with engineering counterparts to solve complex business and client problems
- Apply AI-assisted tools and techniques across the software development lifecycle
- Document requirements in the form of user stories, translating business requirements into technical requirements
- Lead AI-informed product discovery, identifying high-value use cases and validating customer problems
- Oversee AI experimentation and prototyping efforts, measuring outcomes and informing roadmap decisions
- Ensure human-in-the-loop decision making, explainability, transparency, and monitoring in AI-enabled product features
- Use data, analytics, experimentation results, and AI-generated insights to evaluate product performance and inform prioritization
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the EHS or tech industry
- Proven experience in people leadership, team management, and performance evaluations
- Strong understanding of business domain and user expertise in EHS or related fields
- Experience with AI-assisted tools and techniques, including data analysis and machine learning
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead virtual teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience with product lifecycle management, including roadmap development and prioritization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
Nice to Have
- Experience with Excel, including data analysis and visualization
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or Java
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
- Experience with AI experimentation and prototyping tools, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
