Job Description

About the Role

The Product Manager position at Dotmatics is a key role in driving the development and improvement of GraphPad Prism, a leading scientific graphing and data analysis application. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading feature discovery, definition, delivery, product quality, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with desktop and cloud engineering teams, as well as product leadership, to deliver high-quality, user-centered enhancements.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate research labs and working familiarity with Prism. You will be expected to independently own small-to-medium feature development and product improvements, and to partner closely with Application Scientists, Engineering, UX, and Go-To-Market teams to deliver high-quality enhancements.

What You Will Do

  • Identify, prioritize, and help resolve user-facing pain points by incorporating customer feedback, usage data, and market signals
  • Own moderately complex features end-to-end, from problem definition and scoping through delivery and release
  • Partner closely with Engineering, QA, UX, and Go-To-Market teams to clarify requirements, align timelines, and drive smooth execution
  • Test and refine ideas through prototyping and experimentation
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the scientific research community's needs and workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product strategies
  • Analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform product decisions
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps and backlogs
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in corporate research labs, preferably in a product management or related role
  • Working familiarity with GraphPad Prism or similar scientific graphing and data analysis applications
  • Strong understanding of the scientific research community's needs and workflows
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based software applications
  • Familiarity with UX design principles and human-centered design methodologies
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
  • Certification in product management or a related field
