About the Role

The Product Manager, Growth role at Jerry is a unique opportunity to drive the company's growth and innovation in the AI-powered car ownership space. As a key member of the Growth team, you will be responsible for managing product funnels and user experience, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting structured product walkthroughs, identifying friction points, and building a deep understanding of user journeys.

The role reports to the VP of Growth and collaborates closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Marketing teams. With direct visibility to senior leadership, including the CEO, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's growth and direction. As a product manager at Jerry, you will be embedded in one of the most important teams, working on funnels that directly drive user discovery, evaluation, and purchase of car insurance.

As a product manager, you will play a key role in driving this growth, working closely with the team to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and deliver results.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct structured product walkthroughs to map user journeys and identify friction points
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product and user experience, including user feedback and support
  • Drive bug triage and resolution in partnership with Engineering, ensuring quality issues are prioritized and closed efficiently
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of product initiatives, including well-scoped launches and larger growth initiatives
  • Partner with Design and Engineering to ship thoughtful, high-quality user experiences that balance speed, clarity, and trust
  • Contribute to A/B testing, funnel analysis, and experiment design, developing an experimental mindset
  • Help translate ambiguous customer problems into clear hypotheses, requirements, and roadmap priorities
  • Coordinate with the China-based engineering team, maintaining daily overlap during China business hours to ensure tight execution
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market, industry trends, and user needs

What We Are Looking For

  • Exceptionally structured thinker with strong problem-solving skills and analytical foundations
  • Strong customer empathy and ability to think in user emotions and mental models
  • Developing product and UX instincts, with the ability to articulate why a flow works or doesn't
  • Data-driven approach, with comfort forming and pressure-testing hypotheses using quantitative analysis
  • Hungry to build and own products, with a desire to move from frameworks and recommendations to actual product ownership
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and move fast without losing rigor
  • 2-3 years of experience in management consulting, product management, or product/business operations
  • Willingness to flex working hours to maintain daily overlap with China business hours for engineering coordination
  • Chinese (Mandarin) language skills are a plus, but not required

  • Experience working with AI-powered solutions and machine learning models
  • Familiarity with design thinking principles and human-centered design approaches
  • Knowledge of product management tools, such as Jira, Asana, or Trello
