About the Role
The Product Manager II - Cash Balances role at Coinbase is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of the company's emerging onchain platform and the future global financial system. As a key member of the Cash & Deposits team, you will focus on improving the customer cash experience by offering trusted, easy-to-use cash balances that support traders in reducing risk. The role will involve elevating the trust and quality of cash options and making cash readily usable across activities such as trading, spending, and sending.Day-to-day, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, compliance, legal, and operations, to develop and execute against the product roadmap. You will own product development for Cash and USDC products on the main Coinbase app, improving existing offerings and expanding into new ones. The ability to define and analyze metrics to guide product development and ensure a best-in-class user experience will be crucial.
What You Will Do
- Own product development for Cash and USDC products on the main Coinbase app
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, compliance, legal, and operations teams
- Launch new products for Coinbase users across existing and new Cash domains
- Define and analyze metrics to guide product development and ensure a best-in-class user experience
- Align teams on a shared vision and steer execution on that vision for the entire brokerage platform
- Clearly communicate plans, progress, benefits, and functionality internally to partners and executive leadership, and externally to customers
- Work closely with senior cross-functional partners to guide product strategy and create alignment
- Develop and execute against the product roadmap
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in regulated brokerage and fintech
- Deep expertise in fintech banking, DeFi banking, and/or cash management products
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Deep analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership and evidence of the ability to guide product strategy and create alignment with senior cross-functional partners
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel
