Product Manager II - Cash Balances

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fintech, banking, and cash management products, as well as exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, and organizational skills. You will be working closely with engineering, design, compliance, legal, and operations teams to develop and launch new products, define and analyze metrics to guide product development, and communicate plans and progress to internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Do

• Own product development for Cash and USDC products on the main Coinbase app
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, compliance, legal, and operations to develop and execute against the product roadmap
• Launch new products for Coinbase users across existing and new Cash domains
• Define and analyze metrics to guide product development and ensure a best-in-class user experience
• Align teams on a shared vision and steer execution on that vision for the entire brokerage platform
• Clearly communicate plans, progress, benefits, and functionality internally and externally
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends
• Identify and prioritize product opportunities and develop business cases to support them
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure product alignment with business goals and objectives

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in regulated brokerage and fintech
• Deep expertise in fintech, banking, and cash management products
• Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, and organizational skills
• Deep analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to guide product strategy and create alignment with senior cross-functional partners
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to building a robust platform with reliability, scale, and risk mitigation at its core
• Ability to bridge complex technical and regulatory requirements with simple, intuitive user-facing products
• Demonstrated passion for retail investing, financial markets, and the Coinbase mission
• Experience with Excel and other productivity tools

• Experience with fintech and defi expertise to build uniquely compelling crypto-powered cash offerings
• Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in the fintech and crypto spaces
